Neuro Linguistic Programming
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development and psychotherapy created in the US in the 1970s.
It is claimed that there is a connection between neurological processes, language and behavioural patterns learned through experiences. As a result these can be changed to achieve specific goals in life. It is also believed that NLP methodology can “model” the skills of exceptional people, allowing anyone to acquire these skills.
Neuro-linguistic programming can be used to treat problems such as phobias, depression, tic disorders, psychosomatic illnesses, near-sightedness, allergy, common cold and learning disorders.
